Calorimetry
Calorimetry measures the heat of transformation of a material subjected to a temperature variation in a controlled atmosphere.
Various systems are available: isothermal, isoperibolic, adiabatic, reaction, titration, solution, drop, Calvet-3D Sensor Inside, etc.

Large-volume, High-Temperature DSC and (drop) calorimeter (ambient to 1600°C)
96 LINE is a line of modular high temperature (ambient to 2100°C) and large volume thermal analyzers (drop-calorimeter, calorimeter, DTA, DSC, TGA, TMA). The large sample volume has many advantages, providing possibilities such as: - Analysis of bulky, massive and non-dissociable samples (e.g. corrosion studies of mechanical parts, etc.). - Work on mixed materials (concrete core sample, etc.). - Detection of very small variations of mass with TGA (corrosion studies on sheet steel, etc.). TGA, DTA, DSC and Simultaneous TGA-DTA, TGA-DSC from ambient to 1600°C
- Coupling to gas analysis (FTIR, MS) - New 3D high-precision Cp sensor - Cp measurement within 2 % up to 1600 °C - Calisto software LABSYS evo offers TGA with simultaneous DTA or DSC and Cp measurement within the temperature range of ambient to 1 600 °C. The LABSYS evo features a NEW high performance top loading balance and a unique 3D high-precision (Calvet type) Cp rod. Thanks to its unique ergonomic design and market leading Calisto software the LABSYS evo offers you the most easy-to-use Thermal Analysis system with uncompromised performance. See more |

Calorimeter for screening synthesis reactions
Differential Reaction Calorimeters (DRC) are used in laboratories working on the optimization of industrial processes and the screening of chemical reactions. The DRC Evolution was developed jointly with the process safety laboratory of Sanofi-Aventis in Neuville-sur-Saône (France). See more |

Reaction Calorimetry
Depending on the results of the thermal screening tests, it is possible to study the reaction on the larger scale (~1litre) with the SIMULAR. Here the objective is to study the desired reaction and confirm the safety and operability of the process. SIMULAR is a computer controlled reaction calorimeter with features that allow all key reaction parameters to be reliably scaled, minimising the cost of pilot trials. Reactions are run exactly as they will be on the large scale and conditions are accurately reproduced. Power output released under these conditions is measured as the reaction is performed and the data can be put to a variety of uses. See more |

Adiabatic Calorimetry
The PHI-TEC system is a computer controlled adiabatic calorimeter designed to simulate the thermal behaviour of larger scale chemical reactors, especially when studying uncontrolled and run-away reactions. See more |

|
Adiabatic Reaction Calorimetry
The PHI-TEC I is a computer controlled adiabatic calorimeter that can be used to determin the heat evolved and pressure developed during an uncontrolled exothermic runaway reaction. It enables the user to understand what may happen during a worst case scenario arising from mal-operation. See more |

Battery Testing Calorimeter
The Phi-TEC is able to study : •Battery components (anode, cathode, electrolyte, SEI) •Complete batteries •Overcharged or over discharged battries •Charged, discharged and cycled batteries See more |
